Here is a 1980 vintage pre-safety, pre barrel warning Marlin 336 30-30. It looks like it may have made a range trip or two.
A few small dings in the wood, same with the blue. Lever screw looks like some used a butter knife to turn it.
Original box is not pretty but is serial #'ed to the gun. $775 shipped.
