My first week as an elementary principal I had a black 4th grader come to into the office while I held things down while my secretary went home for lunch. She had an invalid son and I let her go home to take care of him. Anyway, Bobby can in and mumbled something. He was a big dark colored black boy but this time, he looked ashy gray and was sweating profusely. I finally understood that he had zipped his pecker up in his zipper. I followed him into the boys RR and tried to back it down. No luck. I went to my truck tool box and got vice grips and pliers. Bobby was making moves that would do a ballerina proud. Still no luck. Trapped an aide walking down the hall told her to keep the office and that I was carrying Bobby to the local doctor. First thing he wanted to know was who was gonna pay. We sorted that out real quick and we all went to an exam room the doctor prepared a syringe with a local and gave Bobby 3 shots in the head of his pecker. After wanting a bit for it to take effect, I used the vice grips to back the zipper. The doctor then basically made Bobby Jewish. Man, I felt sorry for Bobby. He was a good kid that moved to another school district. I paid his doctor bill out the school’s drink machines funds. It was a tuff first week for me but tougher for Bobby.
