My youngest son is a pastor and has made several trips to Ecuador to teach pastors. There was always a danger of being kidnapped and held for ransom. He has also made trips to Nirobi Africa. When he returned , told his mother they stayed at a “safe” hotel that had armed security. Then revealed they walked several blocks unescorted to a black pastor’s church for a larger training room.
