Do they tend to be good shooters and good overall quality? I see them occasionally in chamberings that appeal to me, 257 roberts, 6.5x55, 7x57, 300 savage, ect. I have a friend offering me one in 300 h&h, haven’t handled it yet but in pictures it appears to be very clean and I’ve been thinking about a 300 h&h anyway. Probably get worked in to some sort of trade but he mentioned $900, I didn’t think that sounded too bad, but doesn’t seem like a great bargain either?

I have 2 of the 700 Classics. One is a .257 Rbts and the other is a .35 Whelen. Both have been flawless and excellent shooters.
