I have been using a very old Wind River (pre Sequoia version) 15-45x. It was made by Leupold. It is getting long in the tooth, armour coating coming off etc and frankly the glass is not that great. I am looking to spend $750 or so. I will use it ONLY for bench shooting out to 600 and the occasional 1000yd target. It will not be subject to much abuse or the elements. I have been perusing Doug's Camerland and the Athlon Ares 20-60 has peaked my interest. Anyone have one or any other suggestions? TIA
