We down here are the poster child of a failed and corrupt judiciary...so bad that a Central American dictatorship could scarcely do worse. Many of us, with blinders and ignorance, ignored the unwritten safeguard of ethical journalism which our founding fathers assumed would always be the final safeguard to liberty...that sacred duty of a free press to sound the alarm when the would be tyrants trampled the Constitution. While we were sleeping the communist agenda occupied higher education, which eventually occupied the press (all media) and the judicial bench. It remains to be seen if we can turn this around.
