I bought the exact same rifle as your's at Cabela's several years ago when they were around 400 bucks new out the door. Haven't seen any of those "loss-leaders" advertised in that chambering in a long time; not sure those dealer specials are even still available, and certainly not at those pre-greedflation dollar amounts (however, there recently is/was a guy over on Accurate Shooter selling FV actions for a reasonable price.) Personally, if selling, I would want at least $500 out of my .22-250 FV, because it's relatively-rare 12-twist barrel will stabilize the 53 grain V-Max bullet, and it's proven to be accurate; nothing I could replace it with today for what I have in it.
