You could give them to the biology department or something at a college or university and then maybe claim a tax deduction. You should talk to your accountant about it. Not sure how to value the donation but if you can get that valuation high enough it could save you some taxes. We give all kinds of clothing, household items, tools etc to thrift store charities each year and get a bit of a write off.
