Picked up an A bolt titanium worth the money in Tulsa this past weekend. Someone has removed the sticky finish and pained the stock at some point. I talked to browning and they said they will replace it for free, but expect atleast 6 months right now.
If I have browning replace it what should I expect the replacement stock to look and be like? Also is the stock footprint on these titanium A bolts different than say an A bolt stainless stalker? I had one of those and this one seems different. Final question is I’ve considered putting a different stock on it at my expense, what would a good aftermarket stock be for this rifle? I’ve got a couple B&C stocks on other rifles and like them, but thought they might be a little heavy. Any information and thoughts are appreciated, thanks!
