Decided to get out yesterday for a bit of bow hunting. Been splitting a [bleep] ton of wood lately around the house and haven't had much time to bow hunt the 1st two weeks of Oct.

Went out yesterday afternoon around 330pm. Overcast, slight breeze, misting.

I wanted to hunt one of my woods stands, but I didn't have the correct wind. Only stand that I had that would work was located in the hay field. Made my way to my hay stand located in a small oak tree on a 90degree hay/cut beans.

Once I got into the stand it started to rain cats and dogs. I had some rain gear on, but still ended up getting pretty wet.

I stuck this doe at 39yds. She ran a good 100yds before she expired next to a creek. Made a beautiful heart shot on her.
