As I noted earlier, my knowledge of handguns is pretty limited.

I understand the concept and potential problems with a design that doesn't fully support the case. But how would an aftermarket Glock barrel eliminate or minimize this problem? I'd think any aftermarket barrel would have to be compatible with the basic design and functioning, including extraction.

Just wondering.
