A lot of this question depends on where to from Cutbank. I traveled to CB for 15 years and there is a lot of the country that I'd go to hunt yotes but not deer in a serious manner.
But, there are some places that it can be pretty darn good.
As for the Letterman buck, it's an impressive buck no doubt but the country it came from is quite a stretch from what is in and around CB. Totally different deal no doubt. The front does and can have some very good hunting on it make no doubt, especially if you can draw the tag for the one area.
