Maybe you would get a quicker answer by asking Remington directly, but they don't list a "Nylon Apache 77" on their web site,
www.remington.com.The only Nylon 77 listed was built between 1970 and 1972, with around 15,327 produced. The Mohawk 10C replaced the Nylon 77 in 1972 and, as far as I could see, was the same gun with a matte finish and a green stock, rather than a brown stock. The Nylon Apache 77 could be a non-cataloged variation of the Nylon 77/Mohawk 10C intended for sale through high volume department store chains, like K-Mart. It appears as though they had polished blued steel, like a Nylon 77, and the green stock, like a Mohawk 10C.
