Here are a couple of pictures of bears taken in Russia (Kamchatka Peninsula, if I recall correctly).

Now, before you start in on me:

Yes, the bears' feet are not directly on the ground.

No, I do not recall the height of the guy, but he does not appear to be a midget to me.

No Photoshop trickery that I am aware of, but I can no longer recall where I got the photos.
