A hunting pard of mine uses Hornady 165 BTSP's and 57 gr of IMR4350 on both deer and moose. He's killed lots with it from a 760 Remington pump. Everything he shoots dies pretty much on the spot.

He thinks the thing is a death ray. I load his bullets for him. They're accurate, and expand and penetrate - a marriage made in heaven. He's never shot anything past 200 yards, though. I have, and they worked so good, I started loading 180 Horady BTSP's. Dropped a moose at 250 yards with that combo. Bullet recovered after penetrating both shoulders weighed 154 grains (180 at start) and measured 0.604".
