The information on the rifle is as follows.
It is in good condition, some scratches, a chip on the butt end of the stock has been repaired, some wear on the blueing.
I am not sure what you mean by take down, I have never taken it down and would not want to do so as I never have done so.
As far as solid frame, I believe it is a solid frame.
It is a Savage 30/30, Serial #99557, the markings are:
On the side of the barrel it says Savage Hi-Pressure Steel Model 1899
Manufactured by The Savage Arms Company, Utica, NY USA, Patented February 7, 1893, July 25, 1893, October 3, 1893.
The butt has a circle with an Indian Head in the middle of it and the words Savage Quality in it. Above the circle says Trade, below the circle says Mark.
It has a Lyman Double Peep site and the words Lyman, Middleton, CT USA stamped on it.
The front site is marked Marble #6.
The scope mount also has Lyman stamped on it.
I have pictures on my desktop but am unsure how to add them to my post and am worried about the size of them being ok to send. I am working on that now.
Thanks for any info!
