My dad has several dozen old cedar shaft arrows that are new. I tried to restring his Bear recurve recently, because I love shooting it. It is what I started shooting when I was 15. Much to my dismay, the limbs cracked and went to pieces when I hooked the string loop on the end of the limb. Dang, what a shame. It was a nice bow. I will keep the arrows though. I have a lot of great memories following dad around as a punk kid on many fun bow hunts. Flinch
