I killed a 150# buck couple years ago with this round. 40 yard shot...60 yard recovery with no blood trail. No big shakes...it happens sometimes. Last week a buddy shoots (at) a buck at dark. 100 yds No blood, hair etc. His eyesight is poor, plus it is dark so he can't tell me much about the deer reaction. We never find anything. Smooth miss we assume. Tonight he shoots another deer. 120#, 100 yds give or take. Perfect broadside shot, right behind the shoulder. Deer runs 150 yds and no blood until the last 10 feet. Is this typical performance results from this bullet?
