I had one of the higher magnification Pentax Gameseeker scopes and I didn't like it. I found it almost impossible to properly focus and the eye relief on it was shorter than the specs. Maybe I got a lemon....I don't know but I won't buy another. In that price range, I'd watch for a used Nikon Buckmaster scope. Or, perhaps there's a good scope in the new Redfield line. The reviews on them seem to make me think they'll be a good lower dollar line and if Leupold makes them, you know the warranty support should be excellent.
