BobinNH Campfire 'Bwana B Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 35,900	Never had either but I can't imagine the 6.5/06 or the 6.5/284 kicking all that badly.....as to barrel life, who cares,unless you're a match shooter. The solution is simple....buy two barrels...... The 280 Remington is overbore. The 7 Rem Mag is over bore.
