That would be a Model 23B. No factory provisions for scope mounting originally. 25 inch round bbl, open sights, walnut stock with schnable tip, no checkering. By 1935 the schnable tip is gone, no sling eyes, no scope mounting. In 1939 basically the same as 1935. The 23 B is not listed in the Number 76 catalogue(1942) while the 23C 32-20 and D 22 Hornet still being offered.
