I have no experience with the Kimber, though I would like to change that soon. As for the Weatherby ULW, I have had a few in my hands and all shot sub moa with proper handloads and balance and carry very nicely. Remember though that all Mark V's are a long action and if you are going 7mm-08(great choice) you may want to go Kimber, the other is that the Weatherby carries a 24" tube as opposed to 22" in kimber. I see both as good deal in factory rifles for true lightweights. Both are well under 6 pds in standard rounds, to get that kinda weight elsewhere you are building or having built for more money

These 2 rifles seem to get the most flaming here on the 'fire, yet those who own and shoot either one regularly swear by them..I just don't get it confused
