In a St. Croix ad a couple years ago, they mentioned the people with the fancy rods cleaning their handles with baking soda (I like their reverse-snob ads). Is that the standard procedure for cork cleaning? Dry scrub or paste? I've got a couple handles that could use a cleaning. Also, is their any other treatment/preservative for cork, or just use it?
