I hunted around and found a C&R-able Seneca Green Nylon 66, what nifty little rifles! This particular one was made in March 1960 and was a time capsule.

I did take my apart a little, but in doing so I discovered a crack originating from the sear pin hole. I tried some modern adhesive and, well, it didn't stick. On the other hand, I tested it with several magazines and it fed each time with different brands.

Kind of surprised that with the advances in composites, Remington has not revisited the Nylon concept.
