can't say I liked all the Favre shenagigans in his lat few years with GB but he sure made the games interesting. Gave us one SB at least. Almost another one. Just too bad he hung on too long. Kind'a like Bart Starr thinkin' he could be a head coach. He shud'a been content to be a journeyman QB behind the greatest offense in his era.
...and to Redneck...my sincere apologies for previous comments some weeks ago...I also second guessed McCarthy, on occasion, but tried to give him the benefit of the doubt...just got a bit overzealous in defending him for sake of the whole Packer organization...just seemed like he was being attacked unnecessarily...I could have been equally wrong...it's my understanding that he is a fine individual...hope he continue to be a fine coach
