Anybody ever slapped a Rem 700 take off barrel onto a model 7 action and been lucky enough not to have any headspace issues? I have done several 700 to 700 swaps and headspace has been perfect every time, the lettering even lined up in each case. Not sure what my chances are with the mod 7 though. Surely someone has tried it? Chambering is same/same for each barrel.
