Well, I had a 35 Rem in a 336 and a 350 RM in a custom shop M7 in a full stock..may be the most beautiful rifle I have ever owned.
I now have: Rem 700 Classic 35 Whelen
Ruger 77 RS 358 with a 18.5"bbl.
I always wanted a 356 lever in a Marlin or 94 Big Bore..never found one but did buy a bunch of brass in anticipation
There is something to be said for frontal area, and the 35's can really deliver the "Thump"
