I've never really thought about the Paul Revere ride much & probably spent even less time reading about it so I damn sure ain't about to throw out any challenges as to what actually happened or didn't...BUT...I find it more than plausible that there were a whole slug of British sympathizers, spys & even British officials & troops spread among the local populace...ymmv
