Nice find's but it aint over yet... You now need a Vanilla flavored Model 57 in Factory Nickel 4" configuration to go with that Blued one of 4" length ! and a 6" version of the model 48 with the spare .22 cylinder.... It never ends... Shown is my Model 57 in Nickel and my First year offered 1959 Model 48 Four screw revolver with it's spare .22 cylinder. S&W did not offer these 48's with the spare .22 LR cylinder's until after 1961 so this one must have been shipped back to the factory and been factory fitted for it. I say this as the .22 LR cylinder has Left hand extractor threads and the original .22 W.M.R. cylinder that came in the gun in December 1959 when it shipped has Right the hand extractor threads...Keep up the Hunt...TheGeneral
