Some weeks ago, I posted that I had terrible difficulty in finding a good consistent load for the 223, in the 50-55 gr. loadings.

I finally started working with Benchmark and found two ranges where the bullets shot well(Hornady spsx and Speer 50's). Settled on 25.3 gr of BM which is shooting around the .5 mark in both my PacNor barreled Sako and my CZ Varmint. The two accuracy nodes is 25.2-25.4 and the other is 25.7 grains.

I used a number of powders, but BM is certainly the choice in my two guns. Haven't chronographed the loads yet, but that is next.
