Almost looks like saltwater corrosion, or something?-though I doubt that is the cause.

If the metal was prepped and clean prior to welding, and if the weld had gotten proper penetration, that would not have happened. It was a poor weld.



Safe resides in my back porch, while it's not climate controlled it doesn't go through temp extremes either. Little humidity in the summer and I run a golden rod and a small light bulb also when it's humid.

Fairly obvious the humidity/moisture had it's free will as there wasn't any penetration as has been stated.


ps: Have no opinion on anything else Browning, wouldn't mind an A5 but other than that for the most part they don't do anything for me.
