I've got a favorite (maybe because it's the only concentricity guage I've got blush). I use the brown precision "little wiggler" concentricity gauge and it straightens ammo too. I usually straighten my longrange and competition ammo to within .0005" run-out....


The Little Wiggler is a neat tool. I picked mine up on Ebay a few years back. I found that soft nose bullets, like the NPT's, can be deformed by the tool. Hard tip or plastic tipped bullets work fine.

I also have a Sinclair tool to test run out and I have the Tru-Tool. It takes some practice with the Tru-Tool to develop the right feel, but it does work.

I try to load without much run out in the first place, using Bonanza Benchrest or Wilson seaters. These two seem to produce straighter ammo than conventional dies. But, I still check and correct run out.
