Where did you find the .357 Max? I have a M24 in .223/12GA, which I like quite a bit. I also have a Baikal M94 in the same caliber combo, which I actually like more, mostly because it shoots more types of .223 better (twist rate). It is rather rougher than the Savage, taking three men and a boy to break open and close until worn in, but much easier to locate for sale (Bud's Gunshop has them). I am looking to get a .22LR/.410 Baikal soon, mostly for the squirrel hunting aspects. I would love to find a .357 Max combo.
