I bought one last year when I was actually in the market for an xl7 or the like. I'm very glad I bought this gun over the new manufacture $300 guns. It has good wood with a decent trigger. I shot a 1/2 inch group with federal blue box last year and I regularly shoot around an inch now. It is my loaner gun but probably doesn't deserve that status as it is a very capable gun. A friend of mine shot his first deer with it this fall and I see my kids putting deer in the freezer in the years to come.
