I ended up not liking how much alloys were costing me to get molds to fill out to the correct diameter. I especially struggled with Lyman Molds. I ended up going to
www.accuratemolds.com and I got 2 flat nose molds cut. If you don't like what he offers you can send him drawings/emails about how you want to modify one of his existing molds. I picked a diameter that is "fat enough" to fill the grooves with straight wheelweights. The mold I got is the .46-460M (.46 diameter/460 grain bullet). This ended up being the perfect "hunting" bullet in my Pedersoli Sharps as well as my Guide Gun. If you want speed throw a gas check on it but I wanted economy so I got a flat base style.
