16 kwh @ $0.2127 = $3.40 per charge, divided by 25 miles = $0.14 per mile.
That's 40% more than a gasoline engine getting 32 mpg. That's no ringing endorsement for a car that nobody wants or can afford.
Remember, electric cars really run on coal.
