I've shot a few rounds through my 308 with CFE 223 powder. So far, I can say it gives good velocities and at least decent accuracy. This 308 is like many out there, it seems to give decent groups with almost any bullet and any powder. Haven't had a yahoo group with this powder yet, but a 150 gr Horn at 2980 fps and about 1.2" ain't shabby. It did not group well with the 150 gr E-Tip and Hodgdon's max load listed as 2990 fps - shame would have been a heck of an elk load.
