Funny you bring up ole Roger. He built my 6.5-06 back in the early 90's. I wrote an article on it for "The Varmint Hunter Magazine" back before it was a cool cartridge to own. I exclusively shot everything with the rifle for a couple of years. I killed my two biggest bucks ever with the rifle (29" and a 31"). I shot a great antelope, tons of coyotes, a 500+lb. hog and a bunch of white tail deer as well. It was AMAZINGLY accurate. It was my first semi-custom rifle built on a 700 action and a #5 Douglas. Roger isn't much for words, but he does know his 6.5-06's.
