I stand corrected. I have several new extractors "on the shelf" for mausers of various lengths, M70s and for 03s. Probably never need one but one, for the appropriate rifle, is always in the saddlebag, along with a take down steel cleaning rod when in the back country.

Cheap insurance. I don't buy used parts for my vehicles and, except for quality scopes, for my guns.

A Mauser extractor from Brownells is under 25 bucks (my price) and all my Mausers are worth more than $1000 (each). Penny wise, pound foolish. Especially when dealing with 100 year old parts of questionable quality and metallurgy.

Obvious that NSAQAM is the expert on everything on this site, although we have yet to see his extensive collection of high grade Mauser sporters.
