Nilgai are my favorite animal to hunt in South Texas. Fortunately, I can do it for almost free on a 4000 acre ranch just west of where you were hunting. I use my 7x57 or a .280 generally and a Swift A-frame or Nosler Partition bullet. Excellent eating! Nice write-up.
