Both sons shoot 270's and want to try to work up one load for both, the rifles are a remington 700 mtn rifle and a browning Abolt , both have 22" barrels .I have nosler 140 btips and 150 hornady sp on hand and imr 4831 , rl19 and h4350 powder but will try another powder if i need to . What is good velocity to shoot for ? thinking around 2850 to 2900 , but that is secondary to a good all purpose load .
