mjbgalt Campfire Ranger M Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 15,779 Likes: 1	got a savage i bought a .243 barrel for and i may just cut it to 20" for the same reason. short barrels are stiffer and stiffer is more accurate, in general. it's also lighter and more compact.
