They are from Kragujevac in Serbia. Before WWII the Royal armory there was also producing military Mauser copies and a few classy sporters too so they should have it right by now. The factory after the Communist takeover was renamed Crvena Zastava --- Red Banner -- and contiued to produce arms and autos -- remember the Yugo?
