For about $518+ shipping you can get any McMillan edge stock design made for a Featherweight barrel. There are several stock styles that will work. The McMillan will simply drop in. You could glass bed if you want. I've a couple of rifles in Edge stocks and like them a lot.

www.hightech-specialties.com will run $290+ shipping. It will require some minor final fitting, cutting to the correct LOP, glueing on a recoil pad and painting. If you are at all handy with tools it is not hard. I recommend using a flip-flop recoil pad to save weight and money. About $2 and 1/2 oz for a Walmart flip flop vs $30 and 6 oz. for a real recoil pad.
I've done a couple and was pleased with the results. Mine were not as professionally finished and that would bother a lot of guys, but for a lightweight working rifle on a budget it is an option.
