Is that billet intended for use in a tubular magazine? If not, why would you cripple a bullet like that?
I imagine that bullet is designed like that expressly so that it shoots in standard twist barrels - and I imagine it probably does that pretty well. Furthermore, I think a big game 22 CF bullet is not one whose maker intends for it to be used at distances beyond 300 yards, perhaps quite a bit less. I expect the reports we'll hear regarding this bullet will be excellent for the most part.
