I see that that they have 35 whelen barrels for the encore here www.eabco.com/barels01.html

I have both 30-06 and 50 cal m/l barrels for my encore and don't find the recoil to be a problem with the rynite stock. BTW my 35 whelen is a remington 7600. tom
