Silly accurate build. Do not have any 5-shot groups but ragged hole gun at 100 yards and shot a few 3-shot groups at 300 you could cover with a dime. I did not work up a load on the gun, but original owner did, and I received several dozen hand loads with the gun. Rifle has less than 160 rounds down the tube and was always properly cleaned and no rapid fire. Original owner said appx 100 rounds fired, and I shot it approximately 55-60 times.

"F/S or Trade I have a McWhorter Custom Rifle in 300 RUM. This rifle is about a year old and I am the original and only owner. Specs as follows: trued Rem 700 action, spiral fluted bolt with Sako style extractor, bolt handle screwed to bolt body, Jewell trigger, 26 inch Kreiger 5.5 fluted barrel with 1-12 twist, barrel is threaded for a muzzlebrake, entire barreled action is Duracoated and pillar bedded into a McMillan edge BDL stock with a nice custom shadow grass paint job. Accuracy is superb. Round count is approx 100. Rifle weighs approx 7-3/4 lbs. Rifle was properly broken in and is exceptionally accurate.""

Originally listed for $3,900, but I took it on a mountain goat hunt in 2010 and it got a scratch on the cheek of the butstock and a couple hairline scratches towards the end
of the barrel just in the cerecote finish. Comes with factory comp. but the thread protector was on barrel when it was cerecote--comp is not coated and stainless.

Gun is awesome, it's just not my caliber. Comes with some empty brass, 180 accubond and ballistic tip hand loads. Will dig and get exact numbers.
