Are the 17's as noisy as a subsonic .22? As a high velocity .22? Or even noisier?
I value the quietest guns. If the 17 is quiet, I might consider it.
The 17HMR is as loud as a 22mag and definitely louder than a standard 22LR. I have the 17, 22mag, 22LR and I really can't find a use for the 17. It's too much for most and not enough for others. It is a cool gun though and one I would never part with.
