I sold my 1B LNIB w/o a scope for @ $750 several years ago and bought it back for the same price when the buyer, a buddy, hit some hard times. Right now it is the only SS/laminate I still own.
I had it refinished in a satin SS after that because the original factory finish flared like crazy particulary in late in day slanting sunlight. Scared the horses before the refinish.
It is still sitting around here somewhere as I now have two wood and blue 7mm -08s now -- one a custom and the other a 1A -- that will get used by grandkids.
