I went back and read ALL the XT85 reviews on REI from last years pack.
Gee, I wonder why they didn't post my review?
I sent it to them with pics.
Makes you wonder how many others they didn't post up that had pack failures.
How many reviews were from hunters hauling out meat?
Oh yeah! it's just a slight stitching issue.

Yeah, and my Tasco is a March scope. I just have this hunch it is.
Your hunches and reviews don't say anything till you
really go out and use the pack. Till then, all you have is a hopefull opinion.
If you are just a casual backpacker with 55 lbs of kit you'll probably do just fine.
If you're expecting a hunting pack that's a meat hauler, buyer beware.
